    Desiree Nazareth

    MSW, Pre-Licensed Therapist

My name is Desiree’ Nazareth and I am Social Worker currently pursuing licensure as an LCSW and also a military Veteran (Air Force). I earned a Master’s of Social Work degree at Norfolk State University and a B.S. in Sociology from Saint Paul’s College.

On a personal note, I have 1 daughter and 1 furry family member. I am an active member of my church and take pleasure in spending time with my family. I enjoy giving back to the community with a focus on adolescent girls; helping them to be the best version of themselves! I love helping people meet their goals and succeed in life.

I believe that ultimately, clients know what is best for themselves; however, we all need Godly wisdom and a compassionate mentor to help sort out the messiness of life sometimes. I believe in a compassionate approach to counseling to see beyond the surface and situation to the heart of suffering and help others see their own lives in the light of Christ and experience true healing. I look forward to working with you!

    Fatu Beakoi

    MSW, Pre-Licensed Therapist

My name is Fatu Tina Beakoi, PPS, MSW Supervisee in Social Work. I am a Therapist based out of Virginia.

I enjoy working with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, stress, and career challenges. I also help individuals who have suffered from trauma and emotional abuse.

My therapeutic style is active listening, empathy, and warmth. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and allowing them to move at their own pace while simultaneously challenging them to work towards their treatment goals.

My approach combines Strength-based, solution-focus, cognitive-behavior therapy, and a heavy focus on mindfulness. I believe in formulating every therapeutic approach to each specific individual’s needs.

It takes courage and strength to take the first step toward entering treatment. Reaching out for support is the beginning of healing and one of the hardest. This process may seem overwhelming and complex. I am happy to take the journey with you and look forward to speaking with you.
