Meet My Team

Fatu Beakoi
MSW, Pre-Licensed Therapist
My name is Fatu Tina Beakoi, PPS, MSW Supervisee in Social Work. I am a Therapist based out of Virginia.
I enjoy working with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, stress, and career challenges. I also help individuals who have suffered from trauma and emotional abuse.
My therapeutic style is active listening, empathy, and warmth. I believe in meeting my clients where they are and allowing them to move at their own pace while simultaneously challenging them to work towards their treatment goals.
My approach combines Strength-based, solution-focus, cognitive-behavior therapy, and a heavy focus on mindfulness. I believe in formulating every therapeutic approach to each specific individual’s needs.
It takes courage and strength to take the first step toward entering treatment. Reaching out for support is the beginning of healing and one of the hardest. This process may seem overwhelming and complex. I am happy to take the journey with you and look forward to speaking with you.
If you’re having thoughts of suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or having a mental health crisis requiring immediate attention, please call or text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 or 1-800-273-TALK. You can also chat with someone now.
